NH Business Underground - Globe Firesuits

NH Business Underground is a new series produced by the New Hampshire Division of Economic Development, with supporting players including PFG-TV, Glen Group, Kinney Hill, and Epiphanies, Inc.

The segments feature businesses you might not expect to find in the Granite State, which are also thriving even in the face of challenging economic times. In this segment, we feature Globe Manufacturing Services of Pittsfield, makers of the best firefighter suits on the planet, supplying a third of the North American firefighter service and shipping to more than 70 countries, with additional factories in Oklahoma and Maine. Biz Underground host and State Communications & Legislative Director Steve Boucher partners with Allen Voivod of Epiphanies, Inc. to test out the fire suits under some "unusual" circumstances, after taking a tour of the Globe facility.

You'll also hear co-owner and Marketing SVP Rob Freese (one of the fourth-generation owners of the company) reveal some of the history of Globe, and how their raw materials are all sourced right here in America.
